When front/back window gets dirty we use the window washer function . Normally this is actuated by pulling the wipers leaver or pressing it. By doing this water will splash on front and back windows and wipers will clean the surface. On some car when this action is done water will splash the headlights as well. But what happens when fluid is low and you get the warning symbol ( top right image ) in the dashboard?
Almost all cars have the washer fluid reservoir in the engine compartment with a pipe coming to top front area for easy access. ( top left image ). You can by top up fluid almost everywhere , from Groceries shops to petrol stations. This can vary in colour and scent but all are universal use. Some of them are concentrated that need mixing with water but normally they come ready to use. ( bottom picture ) . This can be poured in till it reaches the top end.
